About the project
Maintained by the GetPhoneNum Editorial Team
GetPhoneNum is an independent developer utility for generating and formatting international phone test data.
Help developers, QA engineers and technical writers test phone-number interfaces without copying a customer's contact details.
Generation follows country-specific structural patterns. The result is not a subscriber lookup and cannot establish whether a number is active.
Country pages identify an official regulator, numbering administrator or standards source. Production systems should still use current numbering metadata because national plans change.
The GetPhoneNum Editorial Team is the public byline used for the independent maintainers who research, test and review this project. It is a project identity, not a claim of carrier or regulator affiliation.
The project combines working browser tools with original implementation guidance, reproducible test cases and source notes. Material corrections must identify an official regulator, numbering administrator, ITU or standards reference so the affected page and dataset can be reviewed together.
Read the fixture methodology and public changelog to see how safety labels, test expectations and material changes are handled. Bug reports and corrections are accepted through the contact page and public repository.
