Generated phone values

The current generator and formatter operate in your browser. GetPhoneNum does not require an account and does not intentionally store the phone values you generate or format.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage such as visited pages, device category and interactions with tools. Google may process request information, identifiers and cookies according to its own policies. Generated or formatted phone values are not intentionally included in GetPhoneNum analytics events.

Hosting and security logs

The hosting and content-delivery services that make the site available may process ordinary request metadata, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamps, for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention.

Advertising

GetPhoneNum currently loads the Google AdSense connection script on indexable pages so Google can verify and review the site. Google AdSense Automatic ads and manually placed AdSense ad units are not currently enabled.

GetPhoneNum also displays one Adsterra Native Banner on each of six manually reviewed country guides. Each banner is labelled “Advertisement” and is placed after the main editorial content. Adsterra may process IP addresses, browser and device information, identifiers, cookies or similar technologies to select, deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Learn more in Adsterra's privacy policy. Adsterra Social Bar, popunder and interstitial formats are not enabled.

In connection with site review, measurement and advertising, third-party vendors, including Google and Adsterra, may place and read cookies or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers. If Google ads are enabled later, Google's use of advertising cookies may enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to GetPhoneNum or other websites.

Visitors can opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. Visitors can also review participating vendors' own privacy policies or use AboutAds choices where available.

Where required, a Google-certified consent platform will present advertising choices before personalized ads are served in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. The site will not activate personalized advertising for those users without the required consent signals.

Third-party links

Links to GitHub and other external services are governed by those services' privacy policies. We do not control their data practices.

Your choices

You can use browser controls to delete or block cookies. Blocking analytics or advertising storage may reduce measurement or personalization but does not prevent the browser-based phone tools from performing their core local functions.

Privacy questions and corrections can be submitted through the contact page. The project issue tracker is public, so do not include personal phone numbers or other sensitive data.
